As the capstone experience of CCA’s fifth grade curriculum, students travel with teachers for three days of exploring God’s creation and digging into His Word at Camp Timber-Lee in East Troy, Wisconsin. Timber-Lee has a marvelous facility with a large science center. Students stay in cabins and eat prepared meals. This setting provides a wonderful opportunity for students to build strong community as they share the experience together. This year our trip will take place on April 24-26.

Activities will include map making, compass reading, nature study, aquatic study, a creation walk, archery, team building, and wilderness survival. Students will be immersed in God’s creation as they learn about His design. Students will also spend a good deal of time in Biblical instruction each day. They will be looking into some of the major themes of Revelation and seeing how God reveals Himself to us through His Word.

We are excited for our students to have this experience and are praying for them to know God better as a result of the trip. Will you join us in prayer? Please pray for safety as the students travel to and from Wisconsin. Pray for unity among the students and staff and that the students enjoy each aspect of the trip. Above all, pray for God to be glorified as we study His Word and His creation and that the students will return changed because they have met with Him.
