CCA Students: Building Foundations
We had the opportunity to do just that as we recently celebrated our 27th annual Founder’s Convocation, where we highlighted our Faithful Father, Firm Foundation, Future Focus. It was a joy to gather with so many guests, all having various connections to the school, to hear stories of God’s work in the hearts and lives of our students, faculty, and families. The time of worship and the reminders of God’s faithfulness certainly fueled our confidence and hope for the future. We believe that God has established Cornerstone Christian Academy for this very time in history. Amid rapidly shifting cultural tides and devastating effects of moral revolution, God has raised up a school that remains committed to challenging students to know Christ as Lord, to think biblically, and to grow in knowledge and skill that they may serve and influence the world in His name.
Cornerstone is more than a school. It is a place for preparing a remnant. We long for CCA to be a bastion of hope and a beacon of light for our students and throughout our community. We seek to be a place where students gain clarity, courage, and compassion as they understand God’s world through the lens of His Word. We are a family who is growing, learning, and worshiping God together. We are glad you are a part of this special family, and we thank you for your fervent prayers and faithful support of all that God is doing at Cornerstone.
In 27 years, God has grown His school from 45 students enrolled the first year to 512 in attendance today. If current admissions trends continue, we will need to increase access to student assistance funds and add classroom and gym space. As we prepare for the strong possibility of increased enrollment and continued space constraints, we pray that all parents and students who desire to participate in the distinctive education that is taking place at CCA can find their place in the CornerstONE FAMILY.
Would you pray with us? Pray that God will provide in miraculous ways the future plans of His school. Pray for His leading and wisdom for of our Board of Trustees, administration, faculty, and staff. Pray for our students.
It is very exciting to think about what God has next, but we must never drift from our mission. We must never lose sight of the top priority He has given us, challenging our students to know Him as Lord, to think biblically, to grow in knowledge and skill, and to serve and influence the world in His name!
So, as we seek to build a foundation of faith for the students God has given us today, let us also pray diligently for future generations of Cornerstone students. May God fix our eyes upward and move our feet onward.
