Praying That God Would Supply the Remaining $3 Million

Since Cornerstone’s foundation in 1997, the Lord has allowed us to serve over 2,000 students and their families. The current facility is at capacity with over 525 students enrolled. Plans to expand our footprint are being developed as we seek to steward the lives and land entrusted to our care. Phase 1 of the master site plan includes the addition of an innovative arts and athletics facility with intentionally designed spaces for these flourishing programs. Creating this space will open several classrooms in the current building to address growing enrollment and provide additional leadership and discipleship development for our students as ambassadors for Christ.

A challenge has been issued by donors who understand the urgency of the current need to expand the facility’s footprint and the legacy that participation in this effort can have for generations to come.  We are praying for the remainder of the funds needed to come in by November 1st.  God has supplied $7 million of our $10 million need for an Arts and Athletics expansion.

November 1st is significant because the funds in hand by that date will determine whether or not we can take the project to bid during the ideal January/February bidding window to allow for a spring groundbreaking and spring/summer construction. This timeline allows for the best pricing, least disruption to instruction, and quickest resolution to our space constraints.

God has supplied $7 million of our $10 million need for an Arts and Athletics expansion. Would you join us in praying that God would supply the remaining $3 million this school year?

Every space in the current facility is being used to educate world changers! Students use the hallways and offices for music practice space. We have 15 teams vying for gym space. Chapel experiences are crowded. The facility expansion and grounds improvements to the 78-acre property God has provided will allow us to:

  • increase academic space for growing enrollment,
  • intentionally design innovative spaces for flourishing fine arts and athletic programs,
  • enhance systems for campus safety and security, and
  • expand parking areas for improved traffic flow.

We do not want to get out ahead of God. We do not want to borrow large sums of money. We do not want to seek God’s hand of provision without first seeking His face. We DO want to see our BIG GOD accomplish this BOLD VISION in our day.

When you give to Cornerstone, you are making a powerful, positive difference for our students, our families, and our school. You are also advancing God’s Kingdom through the ministry of His school.
